About James
James is proud to be a recipient of the Historic Preservation and Restoration Award offered by the Summerville Preservation Society.
James has over 20 years experience in client-focused industries working with high profile clients.
His real estate career began after an extremely successful career in Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Previously to this, Jim served his country as a U.S. Marine for four years followed by spending 6 years in the biotech field, focusing on the “human genome” project. Additionally, James worked in professional management.
With a decade worth of experience representing companies such as Capital One Bank, HSBC Group, and JP Morgan Chase & Co., James offers his clients the combined skills of negotiating, marketing, and listening skills, to find advantageous solutions for their needs.
Before moving to the Charleston-area, James called Southampton, New York and Vero Beach, Florida home. He and his family now reside on the Tea Farm Plantation in Historic Summerville, South Carolina.
James has a passion for historic architecture, historic homes, and relics. He loves spending his time with his wife and children enjoying all the activities and the charm that the Low Country has to offer.
Certifications: James is a certified "Real Estate Negotiation Expert"(RENE) and a certified "Pricing Strategy Advisor" (PSA), by the National Association of Realtors.
